Playing Jenga remotely!

JET is well-known for its bespoke Remote Handling facility. As a demonstration of the dextrous Remote Handling System an operator is playing Jenga. This excercise is used as part of the operators’ training. Normally, the operator uses the MASCOT manipulator to weld, cut or bolt. The important difference is that the operator is standing in the Remote Handling control room performing these tasks more than 10 metres away in the JET vessel. More about Remote Handling section.
