Francesco Romanelli interim capacity for EFDA, Garching

Francesco Romanelli, EFDA Associate Leader for JET

EFDA Leader Jérôme Paméla is going to leave the Garching Close Support Unit by the end of the year and take over a position as Director of Agence ITER France (CEA). Therefore the EFDA Steering Committee Chairman Prof Günther Hasinger (IPP, Germany) has asked the EFDA Associate Leader for JET to act as an interim capacity from 1 January.

A formal appointment of Francesco Romanelli as EFDA Leader until the new leader takes up his respectively her duties will be approved in January, where an extraordinary meeting of the EFDA Steering Committee is going to be held.
