We cordially invite you to attend the next International Workshop on H-mode Physics and Transport Barriers. This year the meeting is organized by EFDA-JET and it will be held from Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th October 2011 at Lady Margaret Hall College in Oxford, UK.
This workshop will be the thirteenth in a series that started in San Diego in 1987 and has since alternated between venues in Japan, Russia, the USA and Europe.
The purpose of this meeting is to present and discuss new results on H-mode (edge transport barrier) and internal transport barrier experiments, theory and modeling in magnetic fusion research. It is expected that contributions will give new and improved insights into the physics mechanisms behind high confinement modes of H-mode and ITBs. This workshop also aims at stimulating discussion and research towards the optimization and improvement of the projected ITER performance.
